About the role

Young Generation Pte Ltd, a leading corporate gift manufacturing and logistics company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Admin to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in our Tai Seng North-East Region office, where you will play a crucial part in supporting our purchasing and procurement operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist the Purchasing Executive in all aspects of the purchasing process, including order placement, vendor management, and inventory control

2. Process purchase orders, prepare necessary documentation, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods

3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities, including budgets, spend, and inventory levels

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline purchasing procedures

5. Provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and responding to purchasing-related inquiries

6. Contribute to the implementation of purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance

What we're looking for

1. At least 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing or administrative role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry

2. Bilingual in English and Chinese

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders

4. Proficiency in mandarin , speaking and reading, with good foundation in Han Yu Pin Yin

5. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

6. Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
