Established in 1998, Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre provides comprehensive rehab care for elderly clients recovering from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, or physical injury. We focus on helping seniors regain independence and improve their quality of life through therapy and social support — all under one roof, in a compassionate and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

(Applicable for candidates with a valid Class 3 driving licence)

• Drive clients to and from the centre according to assigned schedule

• Ensure client safety during transport; follow all traffic rules and centre protocols

• Accompany clients for medical appointments or outdoor activities when required

• Respond quickly to any emergencies during transit or external programmes

• Monitor vehicle condition and coordinate maintenance as needed

• Support planning and execution of centre-based events and outings

• Participate in Metta-wide initiatives such as fundraising or volunteer events

• Carry out other tasks as delegated by your Supervisor or Manager

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum secondary school education

• Valid Class 3 driving licence

• Prior experience in driving and working with elderly clients preferred

• Physically fit and able to assist with client mobility when needed

• Able to communicate effectively in English and at least one local language/dialect

• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work well both independently and in a team

• BCLS + AED certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
