Data Engineer - #1107805

The Opportunity:

• Adecco is partnering with a public sector agency to search for a Data Engineer
• The ideal candidate must possess at least 1-2 years of experience in supporting data initiatives across collection, pipeline design, storage, and visualization.
• Role will start off as a 12 months contract assignment.

The Job:

• Identify and gather data from multiple sources including Excel, databases, APIs, and third-party services, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Automate data collection processes where possible.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, supporting batch and real-time data processing.
• Develop ETL workflows to clean, transform, and load data into data lakes or warehouses.
• Optimize pipelines for performance, reliability, and security, with monitoring and logging.
• Manage data storage solutions optimized for access, cost, and query efficiency.
• Implement data governance practices to ensure compliance with organizational and legal standards.
• Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, Tableau Cloud, Power BI, or similar tools, tailoring visualizations to stakeholder needs.
• Analyze data to uncover insights and deliver reports that support strategic initiatives.

The Talent:

• Possesses Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Posseses at least 1-2 years of experience.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines (batch and real-time).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Skilled in Tableau or Tableau Cloud for data visualization.
• Knowledge of data security, data quality, and data governance implementation.
