Responsibilities:

• Handling of all customer enquiries related to product safety and GHS in a timely manner to support business growth and provide technical support to internal departments.

• Keep abreast of current chemical and GHS related regulations and provide risk assessment based on the changes and possible solutions to ensure timely updates to documentation and processes to local stakeholders and HQ Product Safety Group.

• Support the implementation and oversight of product safety compliance programs, with a focus on regulatory requirements and written hazard communication, such as safety data sheets and product labeling.

• Support implementation of correct GHS labels in coordination with the IT department and review of suppliers’ SDS and related technical documents for compliance with regulatory and organisation requirements.

• Collaborate with various departments in R&D, Operations, Sales and Safety teams to ensure GHS safety compliance from development to distribution.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Industry Chemistry or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product safety, regulatory affairs, or chemical compliance, preferably in the flavourings manufacturing industry.

• Experience in SAP, IATA DGR trained and certified would be preferred.
