Merchandising Manager (luxury) – Singapore based

Our client is a top-tier luxury brand seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to join their team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Oversee inventory reporting, including stock turnover rates and market sales trends.

·       Conduct POS-level stock analysis to ensure optimal product representation based on available inventory and purchase authorizations.
Monitor competitor merchandising strategies and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.

·       Monitor aging inventory and coordinate action plans, including stock rotation and returns to HQ for credit when necessary.

·       Identify and implement improvements in the product distribution process in collaboration with the Senior Manager.

·       Manage quality control stock movements and coordinate repairs with HQ.

·       Assist Brand Teams in selecting commercially viable products for press events, exhibitions, and other activations.

·       Maintain strong communication with Sales Administration regarding product deliveries and requests to support monthly planning.

Qualitifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related discipline preferred.

·       Minimum of 8 years’ experience in merchandising management, ideally within the luxury sector.

·       Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and sales data analysis.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

·       Familiarity with Southeast Asia business operations is an advantage.
