Job Scope:

• Prepare and send freight invoices to customers based on shipment details and agreed rates.

• Ensure billing matches service agreements, tariffs, and payment terms.

• Verify shipment records, charges, and supporting documents for accuracy.

• Correct billing errors or discrepancies promptly.

• Enter billing details into the system.

• Keep accurate records of invoices, payments, and transactions.

• Update client and payment information regularly

• Monitor incoming payments and ensure they are collected on time.

• Follow up with clients on overdue payments.

• Allocate payments to the correct accounts and solve payment issues.

• Handle billing-related inquiries from customers and agents.

• Handle client questions and issues about bills.

• Assists clients with payment plans or invoice problems.

• Prepare regular billing and payment reports for management.

• Assists reconcile accounts receivable records.

• Ensure invoicing follows company SOPs, industry regulations, and customs requirements.

• Support audits by providing required shipping and billing documentation.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.

• Prior experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is preferred.

• Experience in managing or supervising a team is a plus.
