IT Systems Engineer - #1107431

Reporting to the Manager, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled System Engineer to design, set up and maintain a network of computers, including hardware, software, and system architecture. Individual should be a good team player and is able to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage project implementation on the development and installation of new networking and computing infrastructures (ie. Server/storage hardware, Wireless network, switches and routers, Firewall, and basic infrastructure support)

• Installing and configuring operating systems and application software. (ie. Microsoft servers, messaging, monitoring/management software, Backup software, Virtualization, DLP/Antivirus software )

• Selecting the best possible solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies.

• Anticipating potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions.

• Troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues when they arise.

• Generate Service Report for customers and ensure that the report is sent to the customer timely.

• Coordinate and monitor work progress with customer and relevant parties for information to expedite

• Perform 24/7 standby duty for service calls on a rotational basis.

• And any other ad hoc job requirements

Requirements

1. Possess a degree or diploma in Computer Science or IT professional certifications from Microsoft, HPE/Aruba, Cisco, VMware, etc

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting networking and computing infrastructures

3. Good communications skills

4. Experienced in Dell, NetApp, VMWare, Fortinet or Nutanix
