Our client, a provider of high-quality plastics and synthetic rubber for industries such as automotive and electronics, is seeking an Assistant QC Chemist (1-Year Contract) to join their esteemed organisation

Reporting to: Assistant QC Manager/QC Supervisor

【Responsibilities】
- Plan and conduct hands-on analytical testing to support the setup and qualification of instruments in the QC laboratory.
- Perform analytical method validation, data review, and troubleshoot instrument reliability issues.
- Maintain and update quality, safety, and training documentation for laboratory instruments in compliance with ISO and IATF standards.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Assistant QC Manager or QC Supervisor.

【Requirements & Preferences】

(Must)
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting.
- Solid knowledge of laboratory operations and equipment such as GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, and titrators
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills; able to manage priorities and adapt to change effectively.

(Advantageous)
- Experience with OpenLab software and LIMS systems is preferred.
