What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing effective public relations strategies to enhance the company's brand image and reputation

• Organising and coordinating media events, press conferences, and other public-facing activities

• Monitoring media coverage and industry trends, and providing regular reports and recommendations to the management team

• Collaborating with the marketing and advertising teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications channels

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media contacts, industry influencers, and community partners

• Providing crisis communication support and managing potential reputational risks

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications, ideally in the construction or engineering industry

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content

• Excellent media relations and networking skills, with a proven track record of securing positive media coverage

• Proficient in managing social media platforms and leveraging digital channels for Public Relations and communications

• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Proactive, creative, and adaptable, with a keen eye for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities

• Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards related to public relations and corporate communications
