Role Purpose
Lead and elevate Pluvia’s finance function as a strategic business partner. The Finance Manager will own financial operations, drive business insights, and play a key role in scaling the company’s impact and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that align with Pluvia’s growth ambitions.
Provide forward-looking financial analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
Proactively identify opportunities for revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Consulting, Product, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success to drive operational excellence.
Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, challenging assumptions and offering data-driven perspectives.
Oversee all core finance functions: budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, statutory accounts, and cash flow management.
Ensure robust financial controls, compliance with local regulations, and timely, accurate financial reporting.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Evaluate, implement, and improve accounting systems, financial processes, and automation to support scale.
Drive continuous improvement in financial operations, reporting, and analytics.
Required
· 5+ years’ progressive experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, preferably in high-growth tech, SaaS, or data-driven environments.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
· Strong command of accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance.
· Proficiency with modern accounting software and data analysis tools.
· Deep expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
· Demonstrated track record of proactive business partnership and strategic influence.
· Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
· Experience in a scale-up or entrepreneurial environment is highly valued.
· Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA) are a strong advantage.
· Familiarity with SaaS metrics, API-driven business models, or environmental/climate tech sectors.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven environment.
