Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Business Development Engineer to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and promoting technical solutions. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise and commercial acumen to effectively communicate value propositions and deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
• Understand customer needs and provide technical solutions that meet their requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term success.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documentation for potential clients.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to generate leads.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
• Provide feedback to internal teams to support continuous product/service improvement.
• Support contract negotiations and close sales opportunities in line with company targets.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field);
• 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or a related field.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
