Senior Web Developer (System) - #1106168

We are looking for a talented and passionate Web Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining server-side web applications and integrations essential for supporting our academy operations. This role requires a proactive approach, working closely with stakeholders from multiple departments to ensure the high performance and responsiveness of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable web applications using the Laravel Framework.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of backend applications.

• Implement data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and trends to ensure our applications remain relevant and efficient.

• Collaborate with front-end developers on integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic, particularly with React JS.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.

• Identify, debug, and resolve backend-related bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges.

• Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency.

• Engage closely with the product owner to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven backend development experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your Laravel projects.

• In-depth knowledge of PHP, Laravel framework, JavaScript, and MySQL, minimum experience of 3 years

• Experience with React JS will be highly valued.

• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.

• Solid understanding of database design, development, and optimization principles.

• Good grasp of code versioning tools, such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
