Post 1) Senior Electro-Optics Engineer

You will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team developing next-generation laser and electro-optics systems for defence and security applications. Leveraging your expertise in electronics and control systems, you will work closely with optical, software, mechanical and system engineers to design, prototype, and integrate high-performance electronics for advanced laser and electro-optics systems. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering robust and cutting-edge solutions from lab to field deployment.

Requirement:

· Lead the design, development and integration of high-voltage power supplies, laser drivers, thermal controllers, safety interlocks and other control electronics for advanced laser and electro-optics systems
· Perform prototyping, testing, integration of sensors, diagnostics and safety modules
· Perform PCB design, simulation and layout reviews and troubleshooting during prototyping, integration and system validation
· Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards and manage signal integrity for designs
· Collaborate with system, mechanical, software and optical engineers to ensure electrical and electronic designs meet performance and operational requirements
· Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate technical documentation including design records, test reports and validation data ensuring compliance with configuration management and industry standards

 Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of experience in power electronics and control systems for advanced laser or electro-optics systems

• Strong background in PCB design and simulation tools Altium, OrCAD, PSpice, LTSpice)

• Familiar with embedded systems, analog and digital circuits, and thermal management strategies
  Deep understanding of laser drivers, power conditioning, and electronics for advanced laser or electro-optics systems is strongly preferred

• Understanding of laser safety standards and EMI/EMC best practices is a plus

• Strong analytical and debugging skills for rapid development and testing cycles

• Able to balance design robustness with rapid prototyping for R&D applications

• Excellent documentation and system thinking for traceability and configuration control

• Effective communicator with cross-discipline engineers to support integration and testing

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams toward shared objectives

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities in both lab and field settings

Post 2) Senior Opto Mechanical Engineer

You will play a key role in the mechanical design and integration of cutting-edge laser and electro-optics systems for defence and security applications. Working closely with optical, electronics, and systems engineers, you will lead the development of precision opto-mechanical assemblies that meet stringent performance, environmental, and operational requirements. Your contributions will be critical in ensuring the robustness, alignment stability, and field readiness of these advanced systems.

Job description:  

· Lead the design, development, and integration of opto-mechanical subsystems for advanced laser and electro-optics systems, including optical mounts, enclosures, alignment mechanisms, thermal management, and vibration isolation
Perform tolerance, structural, and thermal analyses using simulation tools to ensure mechanical stability and robustness of design
· Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and precision alignment of opto-mechanical subsystems, ensuring manufacturability and field readiness
· Perform prototyping, integration, environmental testing, ruggedisation, and optimisation for mobile or fixed deployment platforms
· Collaborate with system, electronics, and optical engineers to ensure mechanical designs meet performance and operational requirements
· Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate technical documentation, including design records, test reports, and validation data, ensuring compliance with configuration management and industry standards

Requirements:

 · Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

· Minimum 5 years of experience in opto-mechanical design for precision systems, preferably in defense, aerospace, or photonics industries

· Strong background in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and FEA tools (ANSYS, COMSOL)

· Familiar with optical alignment methods, thermal and vibration management for sensitive optical assemblies

· Hands-on experience in optical alignment and integration is strongly preferred

· Deep understanding of optical-mechanical interface requirements

· Structured, detail-oriented mindset for engineering documentation and system integration

· Strong collaboration skills to work across optical, electronics, and systems teams

· Proactive in problem-solving and field support during testing or deployment.
