Our client serves as the APAC regional headquarters for a renowned manufacturer of consumer solutions, industrial components, and devices. Their core mission is to oversee regional subsidiaries and provide shared services to drive operational excellence.

They are seeking an Accounting Executive (1-Year Contract) with experience within a Shared Service environment on GL activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management.

This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

【 Responsibilities 】
‐ Manage daily shared service accounting operations, with the capacity to contribute to their effectiveness.
- Prepare, monitor, and analyse accounting data to generate financial reports or statements such as consolidations and budgets.
- Support the Corporate Tax team with annual corporate tax information and tax inquiries.
- Need to coordinate with stakeholders on service deliverables and communication, including other team members on the shared service team.
- Follow proper accounting processes, policies, and concepts.
- Coordination and completion of annual audits, as well as support for internal audit requirements.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports.
- Maintain compliance with Japan-SOX standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ad hoc assignments as assigned by the manager/supervisor.

【 Requirement & Preferences 】

(Must)
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
‐ Fluent in English in order to communicate with counterparts.
- At least 3 years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting within a Shared Services environment.
- Ability to review and process large amounts of data.
- Proven working experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a professional accounting qualification, ACCA, CIMA.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Prior experience working in an MNC environment (more than 200 employees)

(Advantageous)
- Possess experience in SAP (but not compulsory) and be able to adapt and learn financial tools.
