Beng Hock Mechanical Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a talented and driven IoT Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Kranji North Region. This exciting full-time role offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable skills and accumulate diverse experiences with various heavy vehicle types and functions. You will also have the chance to fulfill responsibilities as a Sales Engineer, promoting our innovative BHGO platform across multiple markets in Singapore and the region, including Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive the building, construction, service, and maintenance of our IoT systems.

- Manage and troubleshoot our smart waste management and fleet management platform.

- Collaborate with development teams to test and validate IoT devices, focusing on automotive applications.

- Ensure compliance with data protocols and formats for seamless vehicle integration.

- Conduct rigorous testing of new hardware releases to ensure optimal performance in automotive settings.

- Provide constructive feedback to hardware providers to enhance device quality and compliance with industry standards.

- Assist installers during vehicle deployments, ensuring device functionality and resolving technical issues.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for device testing procedures, automotive integration guidelines, and wiring instructions.

- Stay abreast of the latest IoT technologies and industry trends, particularly in automotive applications.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, project managers, and automotive specialists, to deliver high-quality IoT solutions.

- Take on a sales role to promote the BHGO platform in various regional markets, identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IoT platform development, testing, and sales.

- A valid Class 3 driving license is highly desirable.

- Proven experience in testing and validating IoT devices within automotive and waste management sectors.

- Strong understanding of data formats, communication protocols (e.g., CAN bus, OBD-II), and IoT technologies.

- Proficiency in wiring tasks and connecting IoT devices to vehicle systems.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.

- Familiarity with cloud-based IoT platforms such as AWS IoT and Azure IoT Hub.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
