About the Role:

We are seeking Assistant Project Manager with experience in 66kV electrical systems. This position will support the Project Manager in all phases of project execution—from planning and coordination to installation, testing, and commissioning—ensuring that project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Support: Assist in managing project involving 66kV and other high-voltage electrical systems, from planning to final handover.

• Client Coordination: Support communication with clients and consultants regarding technical and progress matters.

• Budget & Procurement: Monitor electrical-related costs and assist in procurement of materials and equipment related to high-voltage systems.

• Risk Management: Help identify project risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.

• Team & Site Coordination: Work with internal teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure safe and efficient execution of works.

• Technical Documentation: Assist in reviewing and preparing technical documents such as drawings, method statements, and material submissions.

• Testing & Commissioning: Support testing and commissioning activities for 66kV systems including switchgear, transformers, cables, and protection systems.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety protocols, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in assistant project management or project coordination, preferably involving 66kV systems.

• Good knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, including 22kV and 66kV design, installation, and commissioning.

• Familiarity with local electrical codes, IEC/IEEE standards, and safety regulations.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Willingness to work on-site and support all stages of project execution.
