Job Summary
To be responsible for the efficient operations of the dormitory.
To provide excellent customer service to tenant employers and dorm residents.
To play a key role in maintaining the dormitory occupancy at optimal level at all times.
To effectively collaborate with other functional departments in the company.
To resume the role of the Dormitory Manager during his absence.
Job Responsibilities
To be overall responsible for the general cleanliness, hygiene and maintenance of the dormitory and its immediate precincts,
To oversee and supervise the duties of the Operations Executives, Enrolment Officers, Security Team, Maintenance team and Housekeeping Team.
To work with the security executive to ensure the security operations are adequately done in line with the established SOP.
To attend to all incidents and disciplinary matters involving tenants, i.e. violation of house rules, etc. and to liaise with their employers in resolving any disciplinary matters amicably.
To foster and maintain a close rapport with clients to gain their trust and confidence in the services rendered by the dormitory.
To liaise with government authorities on any matters that may arise from time to time.
To effectively lead, nurture and guide all staff for their optimal performance and output in the management of the dormitory.
To ensure all operating procedures in the dormitory are carried out in line with ISO 9002 standards and workplace safety and health guidelines,
To oversee fire evacuation and fire drills conducted by FSM and take charge of crisis management in the event of a public order situation in the dormitory.
To work with the dormitory manager in achieving the annual KPIs set by the management, budget control and reporting.
Qualification
Diploma in Facility Management / Property Management / Engineering Disciplines
Minimum 3 years of dormitory management experience in dormitories with capacity of 5000 and above.
Good communication skill, computer skill and interpersonal skills.
Able to lead and work with the team members.
Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to meet deadline in a fast-moving work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Preferably with prior experience in Facility / Property / Estate Management
