Job description:

Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital is Singapore's leading independent referral veterinary hospital, located near Labrador Park MRT.

The expert team includes specialists in small animal surgery, internal medicine, neurology, exotic companion mammals, and cardiology, using state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technology to provide personalized care.

The Internal Medicine department is dedicated to providing compassionate, thorough care to patients with complex medical conditions. You will support our specialists by delivering high-quality nursing care and assisting with diagnostics and treatments.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide nursing support for internal medicine consultations and inpatient care

  • Assist with diagnostic procedures such as blood tests, radiographs, and endoscopy prep

  • Perform nursing tasks including medication administration, IV catheter placement, and fluid therapy

  • Monitor patients and report clinical changes to the veterinary team

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment sheets

  • Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

  • Assist with restraining patients for procedures and consultations

  • Support in coordinating case management with other departments when needed

  • Ensure patient comfort, cleanliness, and safety in the ward and treatment areas

  • Communicate clearly with the veterinary team and contribute to a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • Diploma in veterinary technology or a related field

  • At least one (1) year of experience in a veterinary hospital setting preferred

  • Strong interest in internal medicine and high-quality patient care

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Willingness to work weekends and some public holidays
