Indirect Tax Senior Analyst (Luxury Retail – 12 Months Contract)

Salary: $7,000 – $9,000/month

About the Role:
A leading luxury retail brand is seeking a seasoned Indirect Tax Senior Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role requires strong GST/VAT knowledge and experience, with a focus on compliance, advisory, and cross-border tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure accurate, timely GST/VAT filings in line with local tax regulations

• Collaborate with finance and business teams to support GST/VAT reporting requirements

• Develop audit strategies and manage indirect tax audits/litigation, with support from external consultants where needed

• Advise business units on indirect tax implications of new models or transactions

• Research and interpret domestic and international tax laws to propose tax-efficient solutions

• Lead or support various indirect tax projects, independently or as part of a team

• Monitor and assess GST/VAT regulatory changes (e.g., e-invoicing) across relevant regions

• Manage ad-hoc tax matters and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent

• Minimum 4 years of experience in indirect tax (corporate or public accounting setting)

• Experience with global GST/VAT matters preferred

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and tax software

• Experience with SAP/S4 Hana is required; knowledge of Power BI, RPA, or Power Automate is a plus

• Independent, detail-oriented, and able to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, global environment

• Team player with a collaborative mindset
