We're Hiring: Accountant – Aviation Business

Location: Seletar Aerospace Park

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for the aviation industry? Join our dynamic team as an Accountant, where you'll take charge of the day-to-day financial operations for our Aircraft Management (ACM) business line. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving financial accuracy and insight across all business units, overseeing monthly closings, reporting activities, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Full-Spectrum Accounting & Reporting

• Take full ownership of the complete set of accounts for Jet Aviation Hong Kong and Jet Aviation Business Jets SGP

• Perform accurate and timely manual accounting entries (AP, AR, bank, fixed assets, GL, intercompany transactions)

• Prepare balance sheet schedules and reconciliations by the 15th of every month

• Work closely with AP and AR teams to ensure smooth transaction flow and accurate reporting

Financial Close & Performance Analysis

• Lead a fast and seamless monthly and year-end close, with books closed within 2 working days

• Design and prepare dashboards and variance analysis reports, including margin and forecast comparisons

• Submit monthly and quarterly financial performance updates via SAP to HQ

• Deliver timely variance analysis reports (Day 2 Bridge & Day 5 Reporting) to APAC Leadership Team

• Prepare financial forecasts, risks/opportunities, and cash flow reports via SAP BW

Regional Finance Partnership

• Act as the key finance contact for all Aircraft Management (ACM) business lines in APAC

• Liaise with HQ and regional management on all finance-related queries and submissions

• Support the annual budgeting process and monthly reporting packages to Head Office

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local accounting standards

• Support internal and external audit processes, and prepare tax forecasts and estimates

• Help implement and maintain Delegation of Authority and SOX-compliant controls and processes

Projects, Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Support the Finance Manager with FP&A deliverables and business insights

• Contribute to finance process improvements, automation, and best practice initiatives

• Play a key role in global transformation projects, including SAP S/4HANA, Basware, and new IT system rollouts

• Resolve any post-implementation issues and assist in system fine-tuning

• Take on ad-hoc duties to support business goals

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Professional Qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA (a must!)

• Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong communicator with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills

• Sharp multitasker with the ability to prioritize effectively and deliver results under tight deadlines

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages multiple responsibilities with ease

• Self-starter with a high level of intellectual curiosity and initiative

• Excel Expert: Comfortable using advanced Excel tools like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query, and formulas to analyze large datasets

• SAP Proficiency: Experience using SAP is essential

• Aviation industry experience is a bonus—but not required

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of tasks

• Comfortable consulting with management on financial matters with a hands-on, practical approach

• Committed to meeting deadlines for both statutory reporting and project milestones
