Baggage Operations Officer (3-Year Contract)
Location: Changi Airport
Working Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night, including weekends)

Join a dynamic team at the heart of airport operations, where precision and agility drive success. As a key contributor, you'll manage real-time baggage flow using advanced systems like BMS and predictive platforms, ensuring seamless movement across terminals.

Key Responsibilities:

Baggage Flow Management

• Monitor and manage baggage movement across terminals using the Baggage Management System (BMS)

• Operate predictive platforms to detect irregularities and implement preventive actions

• Optimise usage of baggage belts, early bag storage, race tracks, and other resources

• Adjust baggage resource allocations in real-time in response to flight or aircraft changes

Incident Management

• Work with shift leads to coordinate recovery actions during incidents or disruptions

• Deploy and oversee ground responders during adverse weather or operational issues

• Liaise with airlines and ground handlers for manual baggage handling when required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree (preferably in Aviation or Operations Management)

• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends

• Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills

• Resilient team player with a proactive and adaptive mindset

• Familiarity with data analytics, baggage/apron operations, or aircraft types is a plus

• Class 3 driving license preferred
