About Company
Our client is a third party logistics company in handle from over-height over-width cargo to carton-size and spare-part deliveries

Job descripiton:

• Ensure timely collection and delivery of cargoes/ containers

• Ensure proper documentation, e.g. delivery notes, pick up orders, etc

• Adhere to all safety requirements while on the job and ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health requirements

• Vehicle maintenance and housekeeping

• Report any vehicle or cargo/ container damage due to accident

• Report any container number/ seal number discrepancy during the course of work

• Proper handling of company assets and equipment

• Submit driver’s D/O on a daily basis

• Check and update vehicle daily checklist

• Check and confirm delivery notes are endorsed & collect back before leaving customers premises

• Feedback to Traffic Controller / Superior on any issues that arise at customers’ premises, for the purpose of information sharing with colleagues (other drivers)

Job requirements

• Possess valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 driving licence

• Minimum 2 years' experience in driving a Prime Mover in Singapore

• Familiar with PSA/Jurong Port procedures and requirements

• Familiar Singapore roads and traffic regulations

• Familiar with container yard operations
