Responsibilities:

• Translate diagnoses and procedures from discharge documents into ICD-10-AM codes for inpatient and day surgery cases.

• Review and extract key clinical data for accurate coding and DRG classification.

• Liaise with clinicians to clarify and confirm documentation details.

• Stay updated on coding guidelines and standards.

• Monitor uncoded cases and support improvements in coding workflows.

Requirements: 

• Diploma in Medical/Nursing/ Health Science or equivalent

• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology/procedures

• Relevant ICD coding experience is preferred

• A good team player
