Assistant Mechanical Engineer (no experience required) - #1104662

Client Details:

• Monday to Friday, 8 hours

• 2 Shifts: 7am to 3pm; 3pm to 11pm

• Tuas (Have Company Transport: west region) 

• Basic + AWS + Performance Bonus 

• Manufacturing industry

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

• Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic), and manage timely repairs.

• Lead predictive maintenance strategies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography) and analyze data to improve equipment reliability.

• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure availability during critical needs.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment performance, process efficiency, and cost reduction.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports for management review.

• Support internal audits, safety compliance (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 14001), and contribute to procedural enhancements.

Requirements: 

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related courses. 

• No experience required. On-the-job training will be provided.
