Sales & Application Engineer - #1104652

Job Responsibilities:

• Sales/Application of field process instruments.

• Provide technical solution to customers.

• Prepare Technical and Commercial Quotation based on customer specification requirements and coordinating closely with local sales unit and Global Sales Specialists.

• Project sales management and submission of Sales Report.

• Ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers, including price and trading conditions, are appropriate.

• Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and managing resolution to specific customer problems.

• Understand and translate customer’s requirements and work closely with project provision in creation of solution proposal.

• Propose and implement ideas for continuous improvement.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution, preferably from a Polytechnic.

• Knowledge of Primary Flow Components is an advantage.

• Sales experience in the marine, oil & gas, petrochemical or chemical industry is preferred.

• Provide sales forecasts and achieving or exceeding bookings, sales and profitability targets for the Business Unit in Singapore.

• Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure timely follow-up.

• Strong analytical and questioning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.

• Possess good interpersonal skills and capable of working effectively under own initiative and able to adapt to fast-paced, target driven work environment.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• With good written and oral communication ability in English.

• Candidates with prior experience in field instrumentation will be preferred.
