BIM Modeller (M&E) (5 Days Work Week) - #1104509

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a BIM Modeller (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing BIM models for M&E systems to support design coordination, documentation, and construction activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update accurate BIM models for mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring they meet design intent and buildability standards.

• Generate detailed 3D models for systems such as piping, sprinkler, and chilled water.

• Produce shop drawings and 2D families from BIM models for submission and use during construction.

• Incorporate design modifications and respond to Consultant RFIs within the BIM model.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure coordinated and clash-free shop drawings are delivered on time.

• Ensure that all BIM outputs adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and submission deadlines.

• Maintain a professional level of detail and consistency across all BIM documentation and model submissions.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, OR at least 2 years of practical experience in the M&E sector.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably on projects such as mixed-use developments, hospitals, or hotels.

• Proficient in modelling piping, sprinkler, and chilled water systems in 3D.

• Experienced with BIM software tools such as Revit MEP and Navisworks.

• Familiar with BIM standards, construction documentation, and detailing practices.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
