Position Title: Sales Engineer – Generators

Division: Power Systems (Southeast Asia)

Department: Sales, Southeast Asia and Taiwan

Seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to support generator-related business development across the region. This role involves identifying new opportunities, managing customer accounts, and driving sales from pre- to post-sale. You’ll provide technical recommendations, prepare quotations, and work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell generators and related products/services to customers.

• Manage and develop new business opportunities and accounts in Singapore and the region.

• Identify customer needs, propose suitable products and solutions, and follow through with quotations and proposals.

• Prepare and submit quotations and tender documents.

• Provide technical consultation to customers and assist in troubleshooting or product clarifications when needed.

• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. engineering, service) to meet client needs.

• Follow up on projects from prospecting, quotation, order securing, to post-sales support.

• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide feedback for business strategy.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in gensets, industrial equipment, or engineering solutions.

• Knowledge in generator systems (diesel/gas) is highly advantageous.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.

• Able to travel regionally when required.
