We are looking for a Facilities Engineer with expertise in maintenance of Electrical systems and facilities operations to join our Facilities Management (FM) team.
This is an FM position which will have a major focus on FM planning for a new hospital that is to be completed in about 6 years’ time. The candidate would be working closely with the Hospital Development team, MOHH Design team, Medical Planner and Users’ on the FM aspects of the new hospital. Upon completion of the new hospital, the candidate would be part of the FM team to operationalize the hospital.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the FM Site Lead and Senior Engineers
Attend and participate in relevant meetings (design planning, interface, technical clarification, etc)
Support and input to the consultants’ technical & designproposal to meet hospital’s operation needs and maintainability of Electrical services
Keep abreast of innovative technologies such as automation, robotics, etc in FM and healthcare for possible implementation in the new hospital
Support Group Facilities Management functions as and when required
Any other ad hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Power/Technology or related discipline)
At least 3 years of relevant working experiences
Previous experience in Electrical installation work is advantageous
Candidates with healthcare background are highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
Adaptable and able to respond to changing and ambiguous situations
Team player with good interpersonal, communication skills to collaborate and manage with various stakeholders
Conversant in Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with BCA Greenmark certification and Green.Gov.SG requirements will be an advantage
