To supervise and manage all site-based operatives, overseeing all aspects of their work and to monitor site activities such as checking, inspection, measurement, and supervision of works to comply with specifications, drawings, and programs to achieve target progress and quality.
Maintain the project schedule and ensure project milestones are kept to the timeline, with respective letters emailed out, and monitoring project sum collection in accordance to payment terms in contract.
Responsible for overall construction site planning, construction operations and activities, management, all relevant report, oversee budget control and project revenue.
Follow the Project Management Process from award until handover including all statutory requirements and deliverables
Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
Responsible in preparing documentation including daily report, monthly progress report, method of statement
Direct and coordinate activities of project team which includes attending site meeting, involve in all internal and external inspection/handover of projects for public use with no critical defects, place order for spare parts, manage technicians/installers work progress.
Responsible to oversee drawing management and to update client/subcon accordingly
Coordinate and work closely with safety personnel to ensure all government and safety regulations are complied by conducting safety walks on regular basis
Manage cost and pre-empt/highlight potential cost overrun and late delivery of project.
Carry out pre-con survey on the existing building for lift modernization and upgrading proposals to enhance lift safety and control system of lift operation.
n) To plan for workers allocation to each project site including transportation required.
To ensure all work program are issued before the start of each site and progress at site are closely monitored including any overtime work to ensure timely completion according to work schedule.
Ensure all the lifts installed are complying to the local code of practice SS 550 with photos as evidence for BCA PTO Submission.
