As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform general, obstetric, gynaecological, abdominal, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small parts ultrasound scans (as trained).

• Preparing patients, operating ultrasound equipment, capturing high-quality images and ensuring patient safety and comfort through the procedure

• Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and patient confidentiality.

• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians by providing preliminary observations to assist with diagnosis.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of scan details in the system.

• Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound machines according to safety and operational standards.

• Report technical issues or malfunctions promptly.

• Adhere to clinical safety protocols, infection control, and data protection policies.

• Participate in audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Work closely with other imaging and healthcare staff to provide coordinated care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Applied Science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from recognized institutions or equivalent.

• Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
