As a Senior Engineer (Healthcare), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage the maintenance, repair, and replacement of hospital facilities, M&E systems, and non-clinical equipment.

• Ensure all building systems are working well and always serviceable.

• Supervise outsourced maintenance teams to ensure they meet performance standards and KPIs.

• Check and audit work quality from specialist vendors and service providers.

• Lead or support facility improvement and renovation projects.

• Help with system upgrades, infrastructure replacements, and MOH/AH-funded projects.

• Ensure maintenance works follow safety, infection control, and patient care standards.

• Monitor safe work practices by outsourced teams.

• Respond quickly to system breakdowns to reduce service disruption.

• Prepare work requisitions for urgent repairs or replacements.

• Assist in fire safety, training, and security preparedness.

• Enforce house rules and inspect work sites

• Support campus infrastructure development as needed.

• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD)

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics or in relevant Engineering Facilities Management, or related field

• At least 5 years’ experience in managing M&E services in a healthcare setting

• Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.

• Possess strong M&E knowledge with hands-on experience

• Certificate in Fire Safety Manager/Officer or relevant fire safety experiences will be advantageous.
