Job Descriptions:

• Greet customers and assist them in choosing suitable eyewear based on prescription, lifestyle, and style preferences.

• Provide advice on lens types, frame materials, and coatings.

• Promote eyewear products, packages, and promotions.

• Interpret prescriptions provided by optometrists or ophthalmologists.

• Ensure accurate fitting and dispensing of spectacles, including progressive, bifocal, and single-vision lenses.

• Perform lens edging and fitting using optical machinery (if in-house lab is available).

• Adjust and repair frames to ensure proper fit and comfort.

• Ensure accuracy in lens mounting and measurements (PD, fitting height, etc.).

• Maintain proper documentation of customer records and prescriptions.

• Handle payment transactions and maintain inventory levels.

• Assist in stock ordering and product display.

• Follow regulatory guidelines from licensing boards (e.g., OOB in Singapore).

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the optical equipment and display areas.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Opticianry or equivalent.

• Registered with the Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB) (Singapore).

• Entry-level optometrists may apply.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Sales-driven mindset and team player.
