Senior/ Quantity Surveyor (Large-scale civil projects/ 6 days) - #1103360

Key Responsibilities:

• Report regularly to the Project Manager and Contract Manager on current work progress, highlighting key developments and potential risks.

• Liaise closely with the project team to ensure milestones, cost targets, and contractual commitments are met.

• Measure and calculate quantities of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structures for cost planning and material estimation.

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BQ), tender documentation, and contract variations.

• Monitor project costs, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.

• Evaluate subcontractor claims, progress payments, and final accounts.

• Participate in site meetings, project reviews, and support in value engineering exercises.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

• Experience, preferably in large-scale civil/infrastructure projects (e.g., bridges, highways, MRT, tunnels).

• Proficient in RC and steel structure quantity take-off and cost breakdown.

• Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., PSSCOC, SIA, or FIDIC).

• Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and measurement software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).

• Able to work 6 days per week and commit to site-based roles.

• Team player with strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
