Business Systems Analyst – Banking Operations & Payments

An excellent opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst has just arisen at a global banking leader delivering innovative solutions across APAC.

Job Purpose:
Support banking transformation by analyzing business needs and shaping effective system solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze banking systems for loans, trade, payments, and internal data interfaces.

• Gather and document business needs and translate them into system requirements.

• Collaborate across Japan, Singapore, and APAC to ensure aligned solutions.

• Create clear workflows, system diagrams, and user documentation for stakeholders.

• Manage tasks, risks, and communication to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Business or System Analyst in banking.

• Familiar with payment systems (FAST, GIRO, MEPS) and internal data interfaces.

• Strong knowledge in Loan, Trade, and financial transaction reporting (e.g., MT900).

• Skilled in system design, documentation, and business process mapping tools.

The successful Business Systems Analyst must possess strong analytical skills, technical know-how, and a deep understanding of banking operations across loans, trade, and payments.
