Overall Job Purpose:
The role involves proactively seeking and securing MICE business leads covering Association meetings, Conferences and Incentive events with focus on the island’s accommodation, attractions, experiences, F&B offerings and sustainability.
The successful candidate will contribute towards Sentosa positioning as a premiere destination for MICE through pursuance to build a pipeline of international business events for Sentosa and our island partners. Cultivate relationship with industry stakeholders and work with them to respond to event bidding opportunities and provide recommendations based on event needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an International MICE and Local Corporate Database to facilitate lead generation and follow-up activities.
Create opportunities and environment for Island Partners to participate in sales calls, develop and present MICE proposals for Sentosa venues, products, and packages to potential clients.
Create opportunities for site inspections of Sentosa properties for potential events to identify suitable MICE venues for Island Partners to achieve successful conversions.
Ensure stakeholders adhere a comprehensive plan to execute events seamlessly on Sentosa, ensuring delegate and client satisfaction.
Coordinate with the Marketing team to devise and implement sales outreach campaigns, aiming to stimulate demand and address existing market requirements.
Acquire new and sustained business to establish a robust pipeline of events within targeted markets and industries.
Identify and participate in trade events and platforms to enhance business promotion efforts.
Foster and enhance active communication and strong relationships with MICE organizers and corporate clients.
Support in the preparation and periodic monitoring of sales reports as and when necessary.
Undertake any other duties and tasks as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in MICE/event sales.
Demonstrated success in MICE/event sales with a proven ability to cultivate and engage targeted prospect databases. Preferably able to contribute with personal contacts and database resources.
Familiarity with government tender and procurement processes would be advantageous.
Strong Interpersonal Skills, Business Acumen and the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
Capable of collaborating effectively within a team and under pressure, meeting deadlines, delivering outcomes while working autonomously with minimal supervision.

Holding a valid Class 3/3A driving license would be beneficial.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Willing and able to undertake domestic and international travel as required.
