Key Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Technology & Innovation Manager to lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of digitalization initiatives across our organization, in support of our organisation’s vision and mission. This role is key to helping us optimize our digital tools and systems infrastructure to enhance our services and improve process efficiencies through the use of technology. The position will also elevate our suite of digital tools through the introduction of innovative and creative solutions to meet the agency’s needs. Plan, coordinate, and oversee IT and digital transformation projects from initiation to completion.
Work with cross-functional teams to assess needs, propose solutions and translate them into technical requirements.
Manage vendors, consultants, and contractors involved in digitalisation projects.
Track and monitor projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Maintain project documentation including plans, timelines, status reports, and risk assessments.
Improve systems and workflows for relevant departments with new and existing digital tools.
Provide guidance on best practices in cybersecurity protocols, data security and digital compliance
Support staff with technical implementation, change management, and user training.
Monitor project outcomes and measure impact against organizational goals.
Requirements – Experience & Competencies
Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant degrees
Proven track record and experience in a technology-related field such as IT Project Management, with minimum working experience of 5 years
Strong understanding of both technical and business processes, able to formulate innovative solutions to address business and operational issues.
Experience with non-profit systems such as case management, volunteer management and donation platforms will be an advantage.
Familiarity with cloud-based systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good business leadership mindset, with strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
