Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic and annual plans for the Outdoor product category across Asia.

  • Lead new product development (NPD) efforts, from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with end-user needs and market trends.

  • Conduct competitive analysis, market mapping, and category planning to drive profitable growth and product positioning.

  • Work closely with global teams (Engineering, Branding, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, etc.) throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

  • Manage the Asia Outdoor product portfolio, including lifecycle planning, SKU rationalization, quality improvement, and cost/value optimization.

  • Support brand integration, marketing campaigns (digital & offline), and product launches at a regional level.

  • Partner with country teams to localize strategies and ensure commercial success in key markets.

  • Provide product training content and guidance to support sales enablement across the region.

  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting, SOP planning, and inventory health (E&O control).

  • Drive portfolio complexity reduction, value pricing strategies, and alignment with global SKU roadmaps.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; MBA is preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product marketing, product development, or a related function.

  • Deep understanding of user insights, consumer behavior, and the ability to turn data into actionable product decisions.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to work across diverse teams and cultures in the Asia region.

  • Results-driven, highly motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical mindset with financial acumen (e.g., ROI/ROC analysis, pricing strategy).

  • Experience in digital marketing and/or eCommerce is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.

  • Experience in consumer research is a plus.

  • Strong leadership qualities with potential for future senior regional roles.
