As part of the Income Advisory Group Shared Services, the Assistant Manager, RNF Compliance & Onboarding plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and regulatory compliance of representative appointments. This position is responsible for executing fit & proper assessments under the MAS Representative Notification Framework (RNF), coordinating onboarding processes, and maintaining governance standards across distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct fit & proper assessments for representative appointments under RNF within agreed timelines.
Make recommendations on the suitability of each candidate.
Identify and escalate adverse findings for further evaluation.
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of documentation for each candidate.
Missing information or supporting documents required for due diligence checks.
Funding schemes extended to candidates.
Signing of Agency Agreements.
Validation of Talent Transition Funding (TTF) package offers.
Provide regular statistics and reports to Distribution Channels on candidate status and representative appointments.
Conduct periodic declarations and checks, including:
Quarterly reviews of representatives under enhanced monitoring.
Daily credit monitoring of representatives’ financial status.
Annual self-declaration from representatives.
Handle audit requests related to fit & proper assessments.
Review and streamline processes to ensure relevancy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Participate in other projects or tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
5 to 8 years of experience in Distribution Support, with strong exposure to the MAS Representative Notification Framework (RNF).
Proven experience in regulatory compliance, onboarding processes, and stakeholder management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Highly organized, focused, and able to work under tight timelines and pressure.
Independent, self-driven, and results-oriented.
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functions.
