Join our Distribution Compensation team and play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payments across Income’s diversified distribution channels and multiple lines of business. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in working with numbers, thrive under tight timelines, and are passionate about supporting compensation operations and initiatives. The Assistant Manager will also provide team oversight and guidance in the event of the Compensation Manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation OperationsManage monthly account closing activities related to all distribution compensation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
Monitor, validate, and process financing schemes, contests, and compensation payments for representatives and supervisors across all distribution channels.
Provide progress reports on financing schemes, contests, and compensation payments to help representatives and supervisors track performance and results.
Support the implementation of initiatives rolled out by distribution channels, ensuring alignment with compensation structures.
Handle e-submission of annual earnings of tied agents to IRAS and respond to ad hoc income statement requests.
Participate in system testing for new product launches and distribution initiatives to ensure accurate compensation computation.
Support the rollout of regulatory changes that impact distribution compensation.
Assist in overseeing day-to-day team operations and act as a point of contact in the absence of the Compensation Manager.
Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure continuity and quality of service delivery.
Undertake any other projects or tasks as assigned by the Compensation Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
5 to 8 years of experience in compensation operations, finance, or distribution support, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Experience with regulatory reporting and system testing is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to lead or support a team is preferred.
