Baggage Coordinator (Aviation Industry / East) - #1102973

Job Responsibilities:

• Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays

• Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise

• Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room for any real time operational changes and challenges

• Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI

• Ensure the baggage is always kept clean and tidy by working with relevant parties

• Report to relevant party for any issues with the facilities and cleaning

• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher

• Close coordination with all baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling

• Attend to incident on-site and carry out investigation procedures

• Perform enforcement works to ensure staff abide to safety and security measurements

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Higher NITEC in any relevant education

• Must be on-site in the baggage handling area

• Prefer to have Class 3 driving license to drive the baggage truck

• Airline/airport scheduling experience an advantage, preferably with gate and baggage scheduling systems

• Must be able to work shift and weekends (if required)

Working Hours / Location  

• 2 days’ work, 2 days off shift cycle (commit both morning and night shifts)

• Morning shift: 8:30am to 8:30pm

• Night shift: 8:30pm to 8:30am

• Changi Airport
