Computer-integrated manufacturing (CIM) is the manufacturing approach of using computers to control the entire production process. This integration allows individual processes to exchange information with each other and initiate actions. Through the integration of computers, manufacturing can be faster and less error prone. The role requires design, implement and optimize automation solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements, design, develop and test, implementation, optimization.
Document design specifications, user acceptance test and release.
Involved in user/vendors discussion and brainstorming session if required.
Data integration from various sources.
Enhance on existing applications or develop new applications.
Ensure project delivery timely and status update to project manager and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with Manufacturing Executive Systems (MES) like SiView.
Experience in SECS/GEM development.
Experience with .NET Framework, C#/VB.NET, Oracle, MS SQL, PL SQL, Web Services/Web API, ASP.NET, HTML5.
