Desktop Engineer | Yearly renewable contract | Up to 3.1k | Labrador Park MRT - #1102682

• Provide L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from Level 1 support, both remotely and onsite.

• Perform software installations, upgrades, and configurations.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory.

• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).

• Handle OS imaging and deployments using tools like SCCM or Intunes.

• Respond to incidents and service requests via ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).

• Maintain and update documentation, asset inventories, and user guides.

• Collaborate with IT infrastructure and network teams for advanced troubleshooting.

• Provide support during system rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.

• Adhere to ITIL best practices and organizational security policies.

  Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in desktop or end-user support roles.

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS (10/11), Microsoft Office 365 suite, and basic networking.

• Knowledge of ITIL framework and experience working in an ITSM environment.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP/MCSA, or ITIL Foundation are a plus
