Estimation Engineer (Aerospace / North Area) - #1102656

Work Location:

Working Hours:

• 5 Days (Monday to Friday)

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Remuneration:

• Basic salary up to S$4,500 (commensurate with experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom and standard products (e.g., aircraft tooling, GSE, military vehicle equipment)

• Analyze technical specifications, mechanical drawings, and project requirements to determine cost-effective solutions

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, production, and sales teams to align estimates with client needs and internal objectives

• Provide timely pricing proposals for new projects, modifications, or repairs

• Liaise with suppliers and conduct market research for material and equipment pricing

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest improvements in fabrication and acquisition processes

• Manage job estimation flow efficiently, ensuring project targets are achieved

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or servicing/repair of aircraft tooling, GSE, or similar equipment

• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, GD&T, materials, surface/heat treatments, and equipment testing

• Experience with CNC and conventional machining, metal fabrication, welding, and sheet metal work is advantageous

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

• Familiarity with international and aviation standards

• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and virtual)
