Regional Finance Business Partner / Senior FP&A Lead - #1102602

This is a pivotal role that will partner closely with key stakeholders to drive business performance across the APAC region. The successful candidate will report directly to China Headquarters and must be proficient in both written and spoken Chinese, as the role requires regular communication and reporting to Mandarin-speaking senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a strategic business partner, overseeing the financial performance of the Profit Centre and supporting high-level decision-making through in-depth financial analysis.
Work closely with commercial and operational teams to align business strategy with financial performance.
Translate financial data into meaningful business insights to drive performance and improve efficiency.
Lead the monthly closing and internal reporting processes from regional subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with Group reporting standards.
Build dashboards and KPIs around profitability, cost control, working capital, and cash flow to enable data-driven decision-making.
Identify and drive cost optimization and process improvements across the regional operations.
Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process and ensure ongoing budgetary control.
Monitor and report on business risks, including financial misstatements and operational threats, to safeguard value creation.
Ensure compliance with Group financial policies and internal control standards across all subsidiaries.
Support any other finance-related projects or ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, or CIMA) are strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in finance business partnering, FP&A, or financial control.
Industry exposure to commodities, plantations, or manufacturing is highly advantageous.
Strong bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English (written and verbal) are essential due to reporting lines to China HQ.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and influence at senior levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with strong analytical capabilities.
Hands-on experience in financial reporting, costing, tax, and internal control.
Strategic thinker with a high level of integrity, business acumen, and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and manage cross-regional priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as required
