• Reviews tender documents / Requests for Proposals to understand project details and requirements;
• Reviews and interprets engineering documentation such as drawings/specifications/scope of works to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating;
• Provide detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs against the technical drawings, specifications and scope of work documentation;
• Provide timely clarifications for ongoing submission within the tender duration;
• Provide current and competitive industry schedule of rates against the take-offs;
• Communicate and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers and sub-contractors;
• Coordinates with other discipline estimators and Engineers;
• Other Duties

Requirements:

• Diploma holder with respective construction experience.
• 5 years of cost estimating experience within the related discipline
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
