Assistant Engineer (Railway Projects) - #1102533

Job Description:

• Review and approve rolling stock design submissions

• Implement reliability improvement initiatives for railway operations

• Supervise contractor works for new and upgraded rail lines

• Conduct root cause analysis for system faults

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including designers and operators

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Relevant experience in railway systems (preferred)

• Proficiency in engineering software (CAD/SolidWorks/CATIA) advantageous

• Strong communication and technical reporting skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Employment Details:

• Location: Tuas, Singapore

• Employment Type: Contract (duration up to 8 months depending on start date)

• Working Hours: 5-day work week (up to 44 hours weekly)

• Remuneration: $3,800−$4,200 per month
