Our client, a well-known Japanese company is currently looking for a General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business strategies and plans to achieve company goals and objectives. This includes market research, analysis, and competitive intelligence.

• Set and achieve sales targets, improve profit margins, and implement cost-saving measures to enhance business profitability.

• Manage company finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Make decisions regarding funding and investments.

• Oversee overall operations of the organization, including hiring, placement, evaluation, and development of employees.

• Ensure compliance with legal and industry regulations and take measures to minimize risks to the company.

• Promote internal communication and transparency, as well as strengthen external relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience in leading teams or departments.

• Ability to develop and execute business strategies and plans.

• Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and decision-making based on financial data.

• Sales experience to chain supermarkets and convenience stores is an added advantage.

• Sales and marketing experience to Stationery, book, Daily necessities is an added advantage.
