Job Description:
Membership:
Member Recruitment & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing members. Proactively engage with members to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
Membership Database Management: Maintain accurate member records and provide regular updates on membership renewals, payments, and status.
Member Communication: Regularly engage with members via email newsletters, surveys, and personalized outreach. Provide timely responses to member inquiries.
Membership Benefits: Promote the value of membership and communicate the benefits available to members, ensuring that they are aware of all resources and opportunities.
Events Coordination:
Event Planning & Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of corporate events, including seminars, workshops, networking events, and conferences. Ensure events are aligned with the strategic goals of MIS.
Logistics & Operations: Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, AV equipment, registration, guest speakers, and volunteer coordination.
Vendor Management: Identify and liaise with vendors, including event suppliers, venues, and external partners, to ensure smooth event execution.
Promotion & Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to promote events to members and non-members through various channels such as email, social media, and MIS website.
Post-Event Engagement:
Feedback & Evaluation: Gather feedback from event attendees, analyze event performance, and provide recommendations for future events.
Event Reporting: Provide post-event reports on attendance, budget performance, and feedback for internal evaluation.
Sponsorship Sales & Development:
• Identify and engage potential sponsors across various industries.
• Develop sponsorship proposals and pitch customized packages to potential partners.
• Maintain relationships with existing sponsors to ensure long-term collaboration and renewal.
Awards Sales & Participation Growth:
• Promote award categories and participation opportunities to potential nominees.
• Develop targeted sales strategies to increase award entries and event attendance.
• Guide nominees through the application process and highlight the benefits of participation.
Any other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant Events and/or Sales and/or Customer Service experience preferred
Meticulous and great attention to detail
Highly organized with good time management skills
Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentations
Proactive and independent
Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace applications (i.e. Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc)
