As an Senior Associate Engineer (HVAC & Utilities) ,you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Support start-up operations, equipment commissioning, and the transfer of systems from project teams to end users or operations.

• Contribute to the preparation of GMP documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, and related materials.

• Provide support in investigations, managing change controls, and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).

• Perform, coordinate, and manage routine corrective and preventive maintenance tasks for HVAC and utility systems, including chillers, cooling towers, standby generators, AHUs, FCUs, and electrical distribution boards.

• Supervise maintenance work carried out by external service providers, covering both routine and non-routine tasks, and handle maintenance scheduling as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly, ensuring corrective actions are carried out safely, in compliance, and without disrupting operations.

• Ensure all on-site work aligns with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards, Quality Site Procedures, and applicable local regulations.

• Complete all tasks and required documentation on time, adhering strictly to procedural guidelines.

• Promote and uphold EHS policies and initiatives.

• Where current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards apply, ensure that deliverables comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and internal quality requirements.

 Requirements  

• Diploma in an Engineering discipline.

• Preferably minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in managing contractors in cGMP facility operations.

• Preferred experience in cGMP requirements for HVAC, Utilities and Maintenance.

• Must have experience in operating/maintaining rotating equipment.

• Experience in setting up maintenance systems for brown field sites will be advantageous.

• Experience within healthcare sector will be an added advantage.
