Responsibilities and Duties:
Operational Management:
1. Ensure day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department or facility
2. Oversee departmental budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.
3. Implement and optimize workflows to improve service efficiency together with the clinical leads.
4. Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and inventory of gym and office equipment and supplies.
Training and Education:
1. Review generic training programs in the department
2. Support the running of the training programs to external participants
3. Keeping track of student numbers and student days of the department
4. Work with trainers from various disciplines to collate training materials and coordinate department competency training
Staff Leadership & Development (Admin team):
1. Promote development opportunities and continuing education for team members.
2. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance team morale.
3. Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff.
4. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching or disciplinary actions as needed.
Quality & Compliance:
1. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
2. Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement programs.
3. Prepare for and participate in audits or inspections.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare administration, rehabilitation sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rehabilitation services.
· Strong understanding of rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in training technologies, learning management systems, and CRM tools for lead generation will be an added advantage.
· Proven experience in rehabilitation services, healthcare management, or operations.
· Knowledge of rehabilitation therapy modalities and industry trends.
· Able to demonstrate skills in organization and management
· Must be self-directed and able to work independently
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software.
· Strong management skills, financial acumen, and knowledge of healthcare operations.
